I...I don't think I can do a review right now. I'm kind of in shock that I've finished this. I want more...I want a second book; I want to know what happens next. Like, ugh, I don't even know there is just so much more I want to know...
Either way, this is definitely up there in my top 3 favourite books of the year and I highly recommend it. At first, I wasn't too sure I was going to like this as it is a SFF and I'm not much into Fantasy, but the story and the characters grabbed me instantly. I LOVE that there is a f/f romance in this book but it's not the entire plot, it's just a cute little romance amongst all the terrible things happening. Also, there is an autistic main character who is LGBT, which I enjoyed.

Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Fire for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Plague Land: Reborn is the second book in the Plague Land trilogy. This book follows Leon and Freya 2 years after the ending of the first book. They are on a journey to Southampton after hearing a radio transmission about rescue boats. Also, it has flashbacks featuring Tom Friendmann, Leon and Grace's father, in America.
I'm giving it a 4 stars, I really liked it and can't wait to read the final book to see how it all plays out.
I really enjoyed reading this! I loved the flashbacks that showed us what Tom and the other Americans were doing in the 2 years leading up to this book. I think the fact that the viruscan think was the most terrifying and interesting part of it. The virus seems to be alien in that sense, also because it believes it is doing the best thing it can for humanity because if they are re-made and all connected, there is no death. I'm curious to know what the virus 'shows' those that it infects that makes them totally okay with being infected and sometimes re-made.
One thing that can be a bit confusing is when the infected people are talking to each other via 'chemical exchange'. I think the more you read it, the more you get used to it, but it definitely was confusing at first. I hope in the next book there will be more about what the virus wants, how it thinks, and where exactly it came from.
There is going to be a third and final book, and I'm very excited to see what happens, especially with the ending of this book.

I really enjoyed this one more than the other two. I like that you get to see what happens after the quarantine, and honestly, I wouldn't mind reading more about these characters and how they are doing after everything that happened.

Thank you to NetGalley and Orca Book Publishers for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review!
This is a book about 4 friends; Emily (14), Tess, Dylan and Cam (16) who have a Friday Night Hide-and-Seek game going. Every Friday night they go out into their backyards and the alley behind their houses to play hide-and-seek in the dark. Then they get news that there is a curfew of 2300 for all children under 17, which means they shouldn't bee out doing their hide-and-seek game, but they do anyway. After they play their game, they don't go home, instead head out to sit by the river. This leads them to be hunted through the forest and back into their normal game area, and stuff goes down.
I loved this, it was such a fast-paced read that kept me on the edge of my seat. It only took me about an hour to read because I couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a quick, thrilling story. The ending was a bit abrupt though, I do feel that there could have been a little more. I would love to see more from this group of friends in the future!

A little confusing switching from present to past with no indication, really.

Thank you to NetGalley and Common Deer Press, I received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book is about a group of 3 kids, Justin, Jordan and Stephanie who all love math. They form a math club, The Math Kids, after all being in the same math group in school. This books follows them as they solve math problems, both in class and outside of school, all while dealing with bullies, Ryan, Bill, and Bryce tormenting them along the way.
I enjoyed this book. I don't really like math, but I did like how it was incorporated into the story. There are two problems outside of class given to the children, one by Jordan's sister and one by their teacher, that we as readers are given a chance to do ourselves. Before the solution there is a box, telling you to stop and see if you can do the problem yourself before reading how the kids' do it. I think that was a really nice edition to the book. Along with that there is also a section in the back of the book that tells you all about the maths done in the book. I think children, whether or not they like math, will find this a fun read.
I'm also intrigued to read the second book that comes out in 2019, which is also mentioned in the back of the book.

I enjoyed this more than I did the first book. I'm really curious to see what happens in book three, because based on the ending of two, it seems like nothing great could happen.
