mysterious tense fast-paced

This was better than I'd expected it would be. It's a really quick and easy read as well but not too sure about how it ended. I wished it had a bit more at the end, rather than it being left a little open to interpretation.

I knew it was going to be sad…but damn. I still wasn’t prepared for it

If you like r/rules horror you should definitely check this book out.
I've always been a fan of rules horror but have also wanted more from those stories, and this is just that. You don't only get the list of rules but a story revolving around them and showing what happens when characters follow/break those said rules. Can't wait for another story by this author, both I've read so far have been amazing!

First I'll thank NetGalley for the copy of this book in exchange for a review.

I didn't like this one. I should've realized by the title that it wasn't going to be accurate but it still was kind of upsetting. The whole referring back to previously read chapters by the characters, repeating things in her head word-for-word to other characters then the 'chapter 9' thing just threw me off of the story.

Though I didn't enjoy it, I do think there will be an audience of kids probably around 3rd grade and up that would find this funny and maybe even interest them in learning more about Amelia Earhart.

 Wild Swimming - 4.5/5
Eau-De-Eric - 4/5
The Spots - 3/5
The Unpicking - 4.5/5
La Mort De L’amant - 2.5
The Bear Trap - 4.5/5

Overall 4/5

Would love if the three 4.5 rated stories were longer/kept going.

Happy I found this and picked it up, it was nice finally finding something I could easily get into and enjoy reading.

I want more. I would LOVE to have another book set a year or a few years after the end of this, see how everything plays out after (Major Ending Spoiler)
All of the other humans are out of stasis and settled.
But I definitely recommend this book, though it's long it's a fairly quick read.

The art was-alright, liked the simple monochrome colour and the cover design. But, nothing happened. 263 pages and nothing happened, yeah there was a little conflict but other than that there just wasn't enough happening for me. I did like that the pages were numbered though, a lot of graphic novels I've read (not many) didn't have that, and that the Rugby Coach talked about how you can't tell someone's sexuality by how they look and that it's not nice to speculate about it. I'll probably read more to see what happens next, hopefully there are more things happening later on.

 I really liked this one.

I was surprised at the end when we figure out what happened and why. Also, I loved the added bits; map, interviews, texts, e-mails, planner, etc. throughout, I think it really adds to the story when we get to see things like that.

I already added the other books to my TBR and hope I'll be able to get to them before the end of the year.
