Highly disturbing novel. The main character is raped repeatedly as are other young women in the book. The misogyny in this book is gratuitous. That a religious male high school teacher wrote this book is beyond sickening.

This book was brilliant, boring, inventive, thought-provoking, and sometimes funny. You kind of have to let yourself experience it without too many expectations.
