I started this book at the end of June 2022. It’s now near the end of September 2022 and I’m still struggling to finish this book.
I’m 50% of the way through and it’s so BORING and TEDIOUS.
We know her brother abdicates from the end of book 1 AND the description of this book.
WHY ON GOD’s GREEN EARTH DID IT TAKE UNTIL 50% of the book for me to read about what she’s doing since her brother abdicated the throne?!
A lot of things should have been cut from this book. This book doesn’t need to be over 400 pages.
There are other books with the same themes that are way more worth your time.
