I devoured this book in one sitting.
It was absolutely fast paced and that was the best part!!
The plot was good, kinda predictable at times but wow I liked the storyline and I think I'm gonna end up reading all the other books in this series.
It was disturbingly sick 🫤🔪

Re-read 2024
This book has been special since I read it long back maybe in 2020 or so.
I absolutely adore Eliza and all her monsters.
Some quotes in the book just hit so hard and I'm glad I'm a reader cz I get to read books like these 💜
Words are insufficient to express how I feel about this book...

I'm thankful for having read a book like this 💚 this was such a wonderful book ... It was so deep in such a messy way that made me think through a lot of things

This fucking awfully well written book !!!
If you know me, you know that curses don't come easy when I review books. This book just goddamn had all the elements that made me want to keep reading it and also made me and made me want to fling the book at the wall after almost every chapter.
The intricate plot was worth all the time I spent on the book. I did not see a loophole in such a twisted, messy completely maddening book and that is a surprise. I did love the writing very much and also the story that hides so many deeper emotions.
The raw quality of cruelty here is the highlight that bring out so many emotions in us as a reader, this book has a lovely contrast between humanity and inhumane doings that makes this book just a special read indeed.
It took me about 100 pages to get used and into the story but once I was there, it was just amazing to read a story that used my almost all my brain cells.

IT'S NO WONDER JACOB IS IN A BOOK! THAT TOO A BOOK WRITTEN BY A WOMAN!
I absolutely adored the characters in this book. I swear to Satan, all that angst in such a nice book almost killed the mood but I powered through it anyway. The book was so niceeeeee <3 I loved the mental health rep in the book, the flawed characters, the humor, the love.... Oh the love, was, oh so precious.
I loved the book and I am planning to read the next one cz of @thewordyhabitat's recommendation.

The love was good, the trope was cliche but nice anyway. The book was just very nice and fun, I will kinda remember this book always.
The characters were rich in their presence and everything they did throughout the book and it was a very pleasant, dirty, steamy but still feel good book.
