Wheww! Where do I start? This book takes you on a roller coaster from the very beginning! First of all, this book kinda solidified my moral belief of โTrust No Oneโ. If your sister would do those things to you.. who can you trust?! But I loved the fact that no matter what life threw her way Naomi figured it out, and was very optimistic. The message. The Artwork. The SelfLove.
From the moment I laid eyes on this book, I knew it was a book that I had to introduce my children too. Not only is the artwork so vivid and amazing , but the message is profound. Teaching our children to love what they see no matter how black they may be.
I would definitely recommend owning this gem. Definitely setting a high bar for all indie authors, and marking its place in historyโ at-least my history anyway.
