I received an advanced copy of this book and am providing my honest review.

This book is one of the best I have read this year. The portrayal of depression and suicidal ideation are so close to my own experience and I cried more reading this than I have in a long time. The love Ian has for Alek was so heartbreaking.

I really loved that this wasn't a standard romance, but starts with a couple who have been together for 3 years, and follows them navigating the impact of mental health on a relationship. It felt real and visceral, and captures how much hurt you can cause to someone you love.

Honestly, I was so captivated by this story and I devoured it in a day.
