Omg these two 😭 what a lovely holiday themed story, revolving around Rafe, who has lived a privileged life and has a loving, supportive family and Brent, who was disowned at 17 and hasn't celebrated with his family in many years.

This story is built on two best friends who realise during the holiday season how perfect they are for each other. Definitely adding this to my re-read pile.

Ooooh, what a refreshing take on a shadow daddy! Set in Victorian England, when men couldn't be with men, we follow Archie as his mother is determined to see him married off to a woman in society. Archie, however, has no desire for female companionship and finds all his encounters with the opposite gender awkward.

Enter Damaris, a demon looking for a way to come across from the demon realm to the human realm. Damaris and Archie strike a deal; let Damaris feed on Archie's energy, and Archie can let his desires become manifest.

This is a sweet, third-person POV (following Archie) who falls in love with the demon in his mind. There is some spice, but I would say it is gentle and mostly suggestive in nature. But this matches the energy of the book.

What a great first novel from Jordan. I can't wait to see what the next one brings!
