ARC review, 4.75 stars

I feel like I always say then when reviewing Crea's books, but goodness me showing relationships that sit outside of the hetero normative world is so refreshing.

This book follows Shivley, a hockey coach, and Dasan, a hockey player. We have age gap, forbidden fruit and d/s relationship where the sub is our lovely coach Shiv. I loved this one because it shows two people who haven't really touched on the lifestyle before, but learn about it together. Watching them both understand themselves in their dynamic was beautiful and add in Crea's educational descriptions for both the relationship, and for bigger world issues always resonates with me so deeply. Using the authoring platform to actually educate people is something that seems to be missing in books, so it's something I truly appreciate

I also love that we got to revisit Felton and Ren, and we also got to go back to Kala!

ARC review. 5 stars.

Okay friends, a NB MC and a redemption ARC for the other? I loved this book and devoured it so quickly!

The star crossed lovers trope. Gender swapped rapunzel. Mystery and intrigue? Absolutely sign me up.

I have no other words for this one!

ARC review. 4.5 stars

Well, am I ever glad that I stumbled into the ARC for this one. An MM retelling of little red riding hood. Red is from the palace and off on an adventure to stop the great famine that has wreaked havoc on the lands. He comes across Wim, a wolf shifter, who is on his own adventure and is hiding his own secrets.

This is a little enemies to lovers, a little fated mates and a lot of adventure wrapped in an absolutely beautiful cover. There's also a heaping dose of self-loathing and two men learning to love themselves through each other's eyes.

There's primal play, knotting and some light impact play and these two are exactly what I needed in my life. I found Red a little hard to warm to at first, because he's so prickly, but after understanding him more (and seeing him from Wim's eyes), that melted away.

This is part of a series of interconnected standalones written by different authors and I am already moving onto book 2. Definitely interested to see the other twists in this dark fantasy world.
