Whoa. What a book.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect and it took me a couple of chapters to get into it, but then I DEVOURED this one.

Dark academia. An FMC with a mystery she is trying to solve. An MMC who seems like a bad guy, but is actually a big marshmallow. Get on this one.

The suspense was great (albeit my ADHD spidey senses picking the ending right from the start) and watching these two fundamentally broken characters love each other was beautiful. I highlighted a heap of quotes in this one.

The spice is low and the burn is slow, but God it was worth it.

Now I am dying for book 2! I need to know what happens next.
