Whooooooa Nelly. This one definitely covers kink, and not your run of the mill type. Here we have CNC, and my favourite part about this was that is explored the mental turmoil that comes with liking CNC. In a lot of dark romance, we see CNC with no discussion or after are, and in this book we get both of those in spades. We see Dr Mark struggle with what we craves sexually, and how outside of this carefully negotiated safe space, this would be something that traumatises someone. Seeing him and Auden discuss this struggle is refreshing, though not unexpected from Crea.
Another great Van Doren story to add to the list!

I am obsessed with this series and the growing mystery surrounding greater things at play. There were a number of questions that were answered (including the suspicions I've had since book one that were confirmed in the epilogue) and new questions that have since arisen!
Kit and Felix are adorable. Both awkward as heck, both obsessed without a way to communicate it, they're a perfect pair. I've been really excited for their book and so glad I was able to read an early copy. I also really enjoyed the timeline changes in this one. Flipping between current circumstances, and then back to them fumbling around each other.
My heart broke for Kit, learning about his history with Greywatch, and for Felix who just wanted to find his place in the world. And watching them fall in love, and find themselves, was really special
I need book 4 right now please.
