This has been my least favourite of the DMC books. I couldn't get engaged with Will and Keller and found both of them unlikeable characters.
I often struggle with third person POV books, but saw lots of good reviews for this one which convinced me to give it a go. There were definitely some sweet moments, but every time one of the MCs called the other baby, it pulled me out of the moment.I felt it was an overused term of endearment, and there's something about the word that gives me the ick.
The mental health issues were severely glossed over, which is a frustrating element for me too. Give me some substance, instead of anxiety and agoraphobia just being there. Both of the characters MH journeys felt very rosy in comparison to the reality of these conditions.

I love a nice light read after a heavy book and this delivered that in spades. Funny and no-angst is where it's at.
I do wish the sex scenes were a little spicier, especially after Wes indicated he had some epic fantasies for Devon and we didn't get to see them come to light.
But this was a nice break for me.

God the writing and dialogue in this book irked me no end. It was childish and frustrating.
There is 1 spicy scene in the whole book, and it went for only 3 or 4 pages. I felt the conflict was short and low-stakes, and the pacing of the last 20% of the book felt really rushed.
Also, this was teetering on instalove, which I don't mind in fated mates, but these two weren't actually fated mates in the traditional sense.
