I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I have been hanging out for what happens to my two favourite OS's agents and this instalment didn't disappoint. The spice was definitely more detailed in this book (definitely not complaining about that!) and the story continues to keep me hooked!

It was paced well, and continued to break my heart at the treatment queer people experienced in the past. But also I was able to smile at the people who did love Thomas and Will and embraced their love.

Although it looks like their time is done in WWII, I don't think this is the last we will see of Thomas and Will.

I really wanted to love this, but I didn't like not seeing the relationship from both sides. We get a grand total of 4 chapters from Jaehyun and we don't really see his feelings or emotions until his final chapter. It felt really one-sided, and I struggled to see how Raphael could be so in love with someone who came across as very cold.

The whole conflict at the end with Cam really irked me, and it's my least favourite trope in books. I also felt like the ending wasn't wrapped up well; what happened to the band? How did he and Mason patch things up? Honestly, it felt rushed and I would have liked to see things play out a little longer after they made up at the pier, before moving to the epilogue.

The writing however was good. It just wasn't my favourite MM romance that I have read.

Yes, yes, yes! This book!

Give me stalker vibes from both MCs, confident and unapologetic men and hot kinks. This story was perfection.

Jesse smashed another one out of the park! The ability to write beautifully complex characters is second to none and I have loved ALL of the books I've read by Jesse.

This book was so long. Oh man, it got to the point that I almost DNF'd because it felt like a slog just to get to 50%.

There were a number of things that felt unresolved at the end and I am guessing will be addressed at a later point. I am not invested enough to read any more stories in this series, especially after how awful Gracie's brothers were and then it was just all okay the next day...

This was a miss for me.
