I enjoyed the finesse of the stream of consciousness narration, the peculiar structure and content of sentences, the impeccable atmosphere of mystery and doom, the little sci-fi part, and the fact that the ends of the plot and narratives were not left out to dry, vaguely, at the end (which I always find lazy). Here, I think I might not have understood the whole picture but at least I know that everything was thought through and laid out like clockwork
