Who WAS the telling the truth? Truly I don't know!

It's a story about 2 young girls going through traumatic experiences and how it continues to impact their lives.
It made you question the reality of who was actually saying the truth. I thought the author played into that well - which friend was right and which was wrong.

I want more!

Not because this book didn’t deliver and I’m missing pieces but because I truly enjoyed this characters and wasn’t ready to close the book.

The perfect balance and happiness, pain, love, fantasy and reality. Love isn’t easy and clean. It’s messy and Carley showed a side that wasn’t just a win the girl and happy ending.

Every review I read was about how amazing this book was - now don't get me wrong, I was intrigued and read it quickly and I really enjoyed the book -BUT as much as I didn't know what the twists were I knew they we're coming and there was going to be lots of them. It also gave off Pretty Little Liar's vibes which made it feel more predictable - especially with the twist of Andie being alive (which turned out not to be Andie... but I still think she's alive, I guess I will find out in book 2).
Andie very much felt like Alison (mean girl killed, family ends up being involved). Maybe I just find highschoolers solving murders to be unrealistic but hey, it makes great books and TV.

I did buy book 2 (and book 3) and I'm excited to read them but I'm not itching.
