Forced Bonds by J. Bree

The pacing is still so slow tho. I didn't knew it would be that much fighting and war scenes as it is. It's still a fantastic good plot and the author is absolutely making the abilities as good as possible for her but I'm not mad about it. It really didn't wowed me. And as we learned from the last book the cliff hanger will get resolved pretty early on. Also those last bondings seems a bit rushed for the plot's sake, the whole "I can't do this" is way gone now.

The slow burn is birding . A little dull at times, especially at the beginning, but it really helped you feeling the agony and the atmosphere. The author is really taking her time to make every character unique and I appreciate it, I don't mind since it is a series with more books. Not much plot tho so be warned.

Ok so I don't know how to rate it. I loved Manson in the first book, the consent king 👑. Here, there was not that much of the same energy. Not the same build up and Manson was not as crazy-but-caring-hot like in The Dare. I loved that poly relationship from the start and since it is a why choose romance I honestly hoped for more group scenes or even Jess with one of the couples scenes. I will still the second when it comes out and hope that those will be there.

Best of the series, but it dragged a bit. Pacing was ok and it was quite funny.
