Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.

Ok here's the thing, this is brilliantly written and thought-provoking but I just can't do it! The protagonist is a 50something year old vampire who looks like a 10 year old girl. She has sexual relationships with multiple human adults. She has power over them because once she's bitten them they are basically thralls, but she has also suffered from memory loss so she is reliant on them due to this disability. Its a really interesting deep look at power and consent that I genuinely liked. However the multiple romantic and sexual scenes of this seemingly young child with adults was just so off-putting that it overshadowed all other aspects of the plot. 
And I just don't want to read anymore of these uncomfortable scenes
