I really enjoyed this book — it was such a beautiful and heartfelt story that gently tugged at my emotions.
I loved watching both characters grow and heal, not only as individuals but also together. Their connection felt organic and meaningful, and it was so heartwarming to see how their friendship helped them navigate grief and slowly turn into something more.
Jeb completely stole my heart… even if I can’t fully forgive him for letting people call him Jeb. He’s kind, considerate, and deeply sensitive — the kind of character who feels real. I especially loved watching him come into his own, facing his fears and learning to stand strong in his truth.
Their love story was so unique and tender. One of my favorite aspects was how supportive everyone in their lives was of their relationship — it added this extra layer of warmth and reassurance to their journey.
That said, the writing did feel a bit repetitive at times, and I struggled a little with taking certain moments seriously due to the somewhat immature tone in places. It didn’t take away from the emotional impact completely, but it did make it harder to stay fully immersed.
