The book has got its moments of "Who's gonna argue with that?", "That's so true, it's embarrassing.", "That. Is the advice we need/the truth we needed to know right there." and "Man! That's importantly true." amongst it's moments of "Ahh, really?", "I'm sorry, buuut ...", "Uhh? *complete disbelief that this is happening right now* ", " (Oh) Please.", "Now, hun, you're creating wrong notions.", "Stop. No, really, just stop.", "Hmmm *pressing lips* , that's ridiculous.", and " *practically yelling* IT'S ALL SCIENCE!" .
Whatever the Alchemist said, if Dumbledore said, I bet people would've believed it more than they do now.
Even with it's clich`e moments, it's got its advices we gotta open a book and take notes for dear life of. Because they're too true. The whole purpose of this book is gold. And I love it.
It's also got its "You're telling it in the wrong order, honey." moment, when Coelho mentions:
'The tribesman who was searching the alchemist's belongings found a small crystal flask filled with a liquid, and a yellow glass egg that was slightly larger than a chicken's egg.'
Then mentions, 'That's the Philosopher's Stone and the Elixir of Life.' which is basically the wrong order.
