The Girl Who Dared to Think by Bella Forrest

I’ve read a couple books by Bella Forest and the premise is always so interesting, but there’s like 6-8books in each of her series and there’s always a cliffhanger. Idk. This book was decent enough and I might continue with the series.

I still cannot understand the concept of the lashes though, like I tried so hard to imagine these contraptions but just could not picture them in my head.

Eh. I picked this book on a whim through Kindle Unlimited and I’m kinda disappointed. I will never understand why people want to do it while there’s a killer on the loose.
Maybe the romantic suspense genre just isn’t for me for me.

My first Picoult book. And also my first Kindle in Motion book. This was really confusing. If it was longer, I might’ve enjoyed it, but it was just too short for me to really get into. I might still try one of her longer novels still. I did enjoy the Kindle in Motion aspect of the story and will definitely read more.

I just can’t with the writing style. Sometimes it’s nice, but other times it’s just too much. This is quite literally a romance that is character based with very little plot progression. Admittedly, I liked this one better than the 1st and will continue with the series.

LOVED THIS! I laughed quite a bit. It was such a great romance book. Helen Hoang has not let me down; I’m loving her books and def recommend!
The Bullet Journal Method: Track the Past, Order the Present, Design the Future by Ryder Carroll

Fantastic! Ryder Carroll has done a great job at explaining his bullet journaling system. This book reminds me of Marie Kondo’s book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up in the sense that it explains the method, but also has a focus on oneself. I would recommend this book if you want to delve deeper into the “why” of bullet journaling.

I think midgrade books about ghosts are definitely my thing lol. At least ones written by Schwab! I am really enjoying this series! I’m glad we finally learn what happened to Jacob in this book. I can’t wait for the next installment!

I was a little back and forth with this book. I loved part 1 of this book! We get to know all the characters through short stories and see how trees have impacted their lives. Part 2 kind of dragged on for me: all of the characters started to gradually come together. It was my least favorite part and the hardest to get through. Parts 3 & 4 grabbed my attention again as all the characters lives came together and then fell apart again.
I didn’t really like Suzanne Toren as the audiobook narrator. I had to speed it up to 2X speed in order to have it not sound so boring.
