I read this book last as it was last available to me on Libby, but I swear every book I read of Hibbert's gets better. I'm on my way to reading the rest of her books because I just adore the way she writes people. She handled every topic she puts into her books insanely well, and you can tell how much she put into it, how much she cares, by the way things are handled. Reading this book you'll experience parental and sibling death, off page, but talked about often, grief, anxiety disorders, and panic attacks. It's also insinuated in Get a Life, Eve Brown! that Danika is also autistic, like Chloe and Eve are, and you can see the way that goes across in Dani's character. As always, the third act breakups are brutal, but honestly this one was a lot less hard hitting than Eve or Chloe's third act breakups, so for that, I liked the book even more.

This was such a short and sweet filler book. I really enjoyed learning about the world dynamics, though I do wish I would've known more about the lunala before around 70% of the book, though I understand that the purpose of that was to keep us as in the dark as the FMC. We learn later, of course, what it exactly is, but I found the pacing around it, given the other world building and how often it was referenced, to be a little slow. I adored everything else though, and loved the low angst and the fact that I could read the whole thing in a few hours as sort of a palate cleanser after the last bad book I read. Definitely excited to read the next book!
