So I just finished this a couple of hours ago so I might change my mind. Reading this one made the first one a lot better in my eyes so maybe I just need to read the next to feel the same.
I love Rysand and The Court Of Dreams crew with everything I have. Feyre lowkey was getting on my nerves with what she gets angry at. Like, I get it she doesn’t want to be left in the dark about stuff but like stop girl.
I thought the pacing was the worst thing about this book. The main plot line was literally just at a stand still because they were waiting on people to get back with them. There was stuff that happened but not enough to justify how long it took.
I don’t know if it’s a secret but the sub plot of the romance is what has me in the choke hold. I know Rysand was feeling Feyre for a long time. But when she found out they were mates I cried. Him telling her he loved her when he picked up that knife? Sobbed. Tema Rys for ever. Big middle finger to Tamlin who is a controlling freak a leak.

I got so so bored with this book. I had to it on my phone as something I could go to if I needed a “hold me over.” I like the concept and I liked the story but the longer I read the more I just felt like “is this gonna end?”
