I will be honest and say that I didn’t read this book for the longest time because I tend to be let down by a lot of the “hype train” books. I work at PRH and we get 10 free books to order once a year and this one happened to be on the list. Once I started it I felt as if I knew what the book was going to say. I honestly kept low standards. The deeper I got into this book the more it really opened my mind to my own life and way of thinking. I know its to help you build habit forming but I think there is an underlying message that awakened my brain to the question, “What more could I be doing” I will forever recommend this book to anyone even if they already good at habit forming. I think this writer makes you understand and give you the green light to be in control of you life and actions. 10/10 perfect!

I will buy anything she writes, haha! This book is just another example of why I love to read poetry and short stories. I wasn’t fan of this one as much as Milk and Honey but I didn’t not enjoy this read. I am looking forward to reading Home Body, it was hard for me not to just pick that up and start reading it. These are always an easy quick read and think that for the right age group its something anyone could pick up, read quickly, and feel as if they understood the emotions of the writer.

GREAT BOOK! GGGTM kept me on the edge of my seat they entire time. I have never had much anxiety reading a book, ever! Super fast read with memorable characters and plot twists that never stopped. And as a true crime junkie gave me the ending I NEEDED. This will definitely be a reread for sure! Can’t wait to read the others.

The Last Suspicious Holdout: Stories by Ladee Hubbard

I have never heard of Ladee before, I got this book when B&N was having there 50% off hard covers book and it sounded interesting to me. I do not steer away from any books unless it is educational books about thing I’m not interested in. However, I realized that I do not have a lot of short shorty books “on my shelf.” I started this book not remembering much as I just read the cover, bought it, and it sat for a few weeks. The first story had me hooked on it. The descriptive way she goes about the story telling keeps you reading and hold onto every person, place, and events. I think she buttoned up a lot of the stories to, so though I could/wanted to read whole books of some of these stories, I was’t left with questions. I will admit that there are some stories I didn’t enjoy as much as others but the ones I did kept me around. It’s definitely an easy read!
