Aside from the insane (complimentary) spicy scenes, the actual plot was solid. I also enjoyed the characters working out their relationship and talking about it with each other. I liked it showing the aspects of a poly relationship. I listened on audiobook and will probably purchase a hardcopy.

I got through the book fairly quickly and easily when I picked it up, but I did find myself not wanting to actually pick it up. It was an easy-going story and quite funny in spots.

The writing was gorgeous. I simply found it a bit slow at times. Additionally, the plot twist was moderately easy to work out.

I'm so frustrated by the unwillingness to communicate. Also, I'm really tired of Craighton's (stupid name) whole alpha thing. It's too much.

It was serviceable. The real question: who is marrying someone they know nothing about in such a public fashion.

At the beginning of this audiobook, I thought this would be boring and one-note. It turns out, it had a great commentary on the issues it dealt with. I liked the book's structure, even if it was a bit hard to keep track of on audiobook. I also like the "choose-your-own" ending it had. I liked that our main character was fallible and had oopsies. I liked that she wasn't always on the moral high ground. I also enjoyed seeing a realistic depiction of what it feels like to be young, new to a relationship, and trying to navigate the dos and don'ts. Overall, this was a pleasant surprise.

I'm choosing to not rate this. After finishing the book, I looked up the real Cilka. It seems that the family has severe issue with how Heather Morris portrayed her. Out of respect, I won't be rating this, but I did enjoy the writing.
