It pisses me off how badly written this is. These are the sort of books that make me think cis str8 men should be BANNED from writing romance

Effective political action towards a better world requires us to build meaningful constellations of non-biological kinship, too.

Another banger book from Pluto Press. Absolutely essential reading

amazingly written. The misogyny & shaming feel uncalled for but also understandable given the era the story was set in. A hell of a story.

I'm all for translators taking liberty while translating to make sure the text flows in a very different language but it really bothers me when a translation isn't even accurate or when the translator ADDS things that are simply uncalled for.

Loved Dayna and her gang. The story dragged on at times but I didn't mind it so much thanks to the narration. One of the funniest books I've read and actually made me laugh out loud multiple times.

an anthology of short comics with gorgeous art, pure gender nonconforming joy (mostly) and thoughtful reflections on the limitations and, in some cases, deep harm caused by rigid gender roles & expectations and cisheteronormativity. The day when people understand trans choose different gender identities for no one but themselves and they just want to believe happily will be a truly joyous day.
