The Upside of Falling is an adorable book that plays with the fake relationship trope, which is one of my favorite tropes. Oh and before you ask it is for sure RAMADAN FRIENDLY.
The book centers on Becca Hart, who loves to read romance books but never truly experienced true love in real life, and Brett Wells, the captain of the football team and whom seems everything going well for him. One day, Brett hears Becca telling a lie about having a boyfriend, he decides tobe that boyfriend and the two come to an easy arrangement. Becca gets to have a popular boyfriend, while Brett gets his parents off his back about having a girlfriend without all the drama and commitment.

“People always talk about falling in love but no one ever talks about falling out of it.”

Plot wise, it moved fast. It really felt like only few weeks passed. The characters were well written. I loved all of them especially the dynamic between and how they genuinely cared about each other.I did like the open communication and that the issues and conflict that came up didn’t last too long.

The only reason this novel ain't 5 ⭐ is the writing style. I cannot remember how many times I cringed at the writing while reading. But still, 4.5 ⭐will do.

I wish this book never existed.
I am a real fan of Buffy the vampire slayer and it just ruined it for me. Like really? I was super excited to see what the author would do with a new story and a continuation. Yet here I am again, DISAPPOINTED.
The plot was messy.
Silly characters.
Too much description.

DNF at 75%
I just can't connect with everything.

Well written? Yes.
Lovely characters? Yes.
Boring and too long? Yes at all.

This book gave me the urge to have a new shelf "books that put me in a slump"

"When I finally kiss you, there won't be any doubt in your mind that it is real..."

I was a little nervous going into Elena Armas’ debut contemporary romance, The Spanish Love Deception, because of all the hype. But that ease when I found out that the novel pulls of enemies to lovers that features fake dating. Imagine how happy I was that it actually didn’t turn out to be disappointing.
Right off the bat I just knew I was going to fall in love when diving into this magnificent novel. The cover, the synopsis, it being written but a humble and beautiful human being.
I was completely hooked from the very first scene. After months of working next to each other, but having mental doubts about each other Aaron Blackford makes the move when Lina Martin, aka Catalina, is complaining to her bestie about not having a boyfriend for her sister’s wedding which is in four weeks in Spain, and he offers to be her date.
I adored Lina. She’s smart, sarcastic, dumb sometimes, but successful in her career. She’s also so stubborn when it comes to her feeling for Aaron. And OMG him!!! The dude is sexy, smart, caring, and so into Lina first.
Aaron and Catalina, one of my favorite characters this year, have out done themselves with how much passion they have for each other. Whether it's the passion of their arguments, heated stares, and that emotional connection.
The characters are well fleshed out and everything feel so organic and real. I absolutely love that this is more of an ‘enemies to friends to lovers’ instead of a typical ‘enemies to lovers’, In TSLD, the gradual transition from enemies to friends between Aaron and Catalina allows believability in their love story and it helps the romance to carry not just depth, but meaning as well—it’s honestly my favorite thing about this book.
Everything just fall into place so perfectly together by the end and it certainly left me feeling content with a grin plastered on my face. I think my face might’ve been permanently defected from smiling like a fool the whole time I was reading this book! This is just the type of romance I love and enjoy! I really enjoyed reading The Spanish Love Deception. It was so freaking cute and so sweet and so swoon-worthy and just so good! I lost count of how many times I sighted out loud.
Why 4.5⭐ ?
The writing’s great and digestible however the long chapters and monologues initially drained me and i had to put the book down multiple times to rest.
Overall, this magnificent and beautifully written novel is truly one of a kind that will make the butterflies in your stomach flutter. Every stare, every touch, every kiss— is what makes Aaron Blackford one of a kind.

Don't kill me but ... IS THAT ALL?

I mean... I was waiting to read this book for ages and this is what we get? Srsly?

I was super invested in the two main characters while reading the trilogy.. now i am disappointed. I was bored for most of the book. I couldn't care less about half of the stuff happening. And why the hell did we get Cardan's feeling for Nicasia/Narcisia fish whatever????

It's been over than a month since I read this book. Let's hope I do remember the necessary details for a review.
A captivating novel. When a man's body is discovered in his own appartment and apparently stabbed to death several times, both Detectives, Sam Olsen and Deena Burton from APD follow the case. Soon after, in the exact same day, Deena and Sam face another murder. A woman tied to a chair in the middle of her workshop.
The Detectives' concern is that there is a new sadistic killer on the loose. A possible serial killer? How will this end? Will they get to the killer on time before more people die?
I don't know why but [b:The knit killer|60632976|The knit killer|Samia habet|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1647483588l/60632976._SY75_.jpg|95578011] gives me [b:Rizzoli & Isles Series 10-Book Bundle: The Surgeon, the Apprentice, the Sinner, Body Double, Vanish, the Mephesto Club the Keepsake, Ice Cold, Th|18651721|Rizzoli & Isles Series 10-Book Bundle The Surgeon, the Apprentice, the Sinner, Body Double, Vanish, the Mephesto Club the Keepsake, Ice Cold, Th|Tess Gerritsen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1434580723l/18651721._SX50_.jpg|26457226] vibes.
- The relationship between Sam and Deena usually proves the most interesting aspect of the novel,
working together and yet in their own sphere to solve these murders.
- This was so good because I thought I had this figured out half way through. Not even close! It keeps getting me on each chapter.
- I enjoyed the way the book was written from both ladies' POVs as it was nice to get into the head of the key players.
- The ending was a coaster for all of what happened turned out to be just a tiny part of what is to come. Like... excuse you author, you don't get to this and say to be continued!!!!

The Knit Killer is a very nice story. The plot was nicely written. The dialogues were a bit short. I like more thoughts. The only reason wh this is not a 5 stars read though it should be, is that the publishing house didn't do a great job by proof reading it perfectly. But do not worry, you won't have trouble reading or liking the book.
I do recommend this book if you are a quick but interesting crime lover.

Ew! What is this?
You should've stopped milking the cow ages ago TAHEREH

A pretty nice from different PoVs but it didn't add to the story
