foul lady fortune, in my personal opinion, is a very well written book as it made me gasp with all the unexpected plot twists, cry with the emotional scene, and get irritated when the characters went through something unpleasing. i love foul lady fortune and can’t wait for foul hearts huntsman!

i have mixed feelings about “no longer human” because even though it is emotional, yozo’s views about women and how he treats them is not my cup of tea… also: rich vocab. i liked it.

it’s a tear-jerker alright… this was the book i chose to read for a book club in english class and ofc i was exposed to misleading spoilers led by a friend… which altered my perception of the ending until i actually knew what the ending was… it’s devastating but beautiful.
