TW: Fatphobia, Slut-Shaming, Eating Disorders, Self-Harm and Body Dysmorphia.
I absolutely loved this book, it was quite hard hitting but in an easy way. Siobhan holds nothing back and takes us on a rollercoaster. It was so relatable to me and probably lots of other women, I feel Siobhan does a really good job portraying this through her own life experiences.
A very poignant graphic novel and one I feel like should be read by everyone.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s a slow burn, second chance romance, two tropes which I love. The book touches on quite a few different topics, like interracial dating, micro-aggressions, racism and being a black woman in the workplace. The characters felt very real, I loved some and hated others.
I loved seeing Gen develop as a character throughout the whole book and I found myself rooting for her from the start. She’s a great example of showing strength in the face of adversity. I’d definitely recommend this book to others, it’s a very easy read and I found myself flying through it.

A story about survival and facing your fears. This was such a fast paced and quick read. A great read for the lead up to Halloween! I did find it a bit confusing at points but that didn’t stop the book from gripping me. I just had to know what happened. I do, however, wish this book was slightly longer and they delved into the lore a bit more.

This is such a great children’s book and is such a great way to spark an interest in STEM for young girls. All the illustrations are so cute and the rhymes go perfectly. I loved the way they mentioned real life women in STEM. I only wish they maybe mentioned more on them.
Overall this is a great book for young girls and very easy to read.
