I think this book was extremely readable and the author clearly loves the fantasy and romance genres, I just think it could have really used an editor. The premise is interesting but I had issues with some of the execution.

If the first 200 pages of this book had been paced more like the last 200 pages this would’ve been a five star read, but the first half of the book took so long to get started that I nearly DNFed multiple times. I did however really love the final half, and will definitely be picking up the sequel.
