I have concluded that I cannot accurately review these volumes because they make me irrationally giddy.

I lost interest about 1/4 of the way through. I finished it, but it was a chore to do so.

If you have not read the novels, you might not enjoy these manhuas as much as I do. I really appreciate this representation of the story.

Writing this review took me far longer than I anticipated. My initial thoughts were a chaotic jumble, which reflects my feelings about the novel quite well—it's complicated!

The story is packed with chapters, some bursting with action while others drag on without much happening. I loved the thrill of the plot-driven scenes but struggled with the main character. I had to force myself through most of the novel, which is never a great feeling.

I enjoyed the time dedicated to the cultivation-world dynamics, the multiple plot directions, and the intriguing secondary characters. The main character's being a snake was an interesting concept, but ultimately made the story difficult for me to enjoy. I had a tough time believing some of the main character's actions as a snake were possible, even considering they were a cultivator capable of extraordinary stunts, like flying on swords. I could not connect with the main character's immature and materialistic behavior. My frustration with the main character constantly pulled me away from the story.

Thank you for the tremendous work the translators put into making this web novel accessible to English readers like myself!
