Truly captivating and intriguing. Scary relevant and close to the trajectory of the current climate of humanity. But this isn’t a story about heroes or villains or goodness triumphing, it’s a story about ends and means and the bargaining that people and society engage in when faced with impossible circumstances.

Also, there is an AI prospect for dictator of the world… so science!

The first 200 pages were awful. Things got much better when they arrived in Spain. The ending and 3rd act breakup felt both rushed and drawn out. It was fine, but not worth the hype it gets.
