This book really showcased navigating grief and finding a new love at the same time. Both the fmc and mmc experience a loss but they both turn to each other cause of how they both relate. I gave this book 3 stars because to me it was tip toeing on trauma bonding just a little bit. Overall a good read.

This was a beautiful, real and raw story. This story shows how grief can be a heavy weight to carry and it isn’t the same for everyone. Both characters are dealing with a significant loss in their lives, all while trying to navigate falling in love. The grace, patience, courage that the MMC had was just lovely! Shanora definitely does it again!
