i feel like i read this on accident the way i was taken so aback by what the actual story was about lol the art was stunning though
this lacked so much characterization for it having also, no plot. "just vibes" books only work for me when there is still something or someone to care about and this book did not have that. the dialogue was also just painful to read it was so incoherent or dull

lacked a lot of the depth i was expecting, felt very one-note the entire time i was reading. there were aspects i really enjoyed, and parts i also found very funny, but in the end i just didn't feel anything stick with me. i also found that the pacing was a mess. the ending section especially just felt all over the place, and the actual ending itself felt wrapped up with a little bow which i didn't feel we deserved. still, there were some sections in the middle and beginning that i really did like, however it was just an alright read overall.
reread didn’t hit as much as the first time but this was still a very fun time

gorgeous artwork and really enjoyable side characters and character design, however cora as a MC was so insufferable and the ending was abysmally rushed. did not at all feel earned and was highly predictable throughout.
pacing was not what i was in the mood for, much too slow to get into and the chapters from the pastor were so incredibly uninteresting compared to Good Stab's chapters that i lost interest every POV shift
