i'm sure this book was pretty revolutionary or something in the 90s but it was a little pandery i guess?? like they really don't try to cover how hard it's trying to be something kids read in school to teach them DO NOT!!!! DRINK AND DRIVE and also i wasn't a huge fan of the way it's written cause when i was done i couldn't remember which characters said what but like Whatever it was enjoyable enough

great end to a great first series, i feel like scourge and his lackeys could've had like a little more time before the climax?? and also a little more of a conclusion so in general i think it could be a little longer but Very enjoyable read i was invested

my school made us read this for 1 school 1 book and Honestly it just was mid and tried way too hard to be relatable to kids Almost burst out laughing when the main character whatever the hell his name was said bussin like Ok bro

as my first mccarthy book it took me a while to get used to his Peculiar writing style but once i did i was pretty enthralled though Holy Moly the world is just Bleak and #Ngl it was a little depressing but i still really enjoyed it😁

Low Key made me #LaughOutLoud a few times

the only thing its better at compared to the tv series is that the events are slower and much easier to follow + aziraphale and crowley act more like a married couple but the hard times cold open is so missed 😭😭

its also very worth it for the amount of times aziraphale gets called slurs

LOVE LOVE this book it's so cool it's just so. cool bro idk i loved watching the mc descend the movies did NOT do it justice bro

only complaint is that the rats intelligence is definitely exaggerated but its good enough for me also HI WILL WOOD!!!!
