The FMC spends most of the beginning being a hypocrite. She is so concerned that Jack is cheating on her but turns around and buys new underwear to go skiing with a hot man? No thanks.

The whole book is like a fever dream that you have that’s triggered by watching a car accident. I don’t know if that makes any sense but that’s what this book feels like. 

I definitely recommend the short story and the authors note. Helped with some context.
