"I'll get back to it" i told myself for almost a year.
Finally decided to free myself from this looming dread in the back of my head.

Maybe this is just not my cup, but I love slow pace and dark academia, but this just bores me.

I love slow paced books but this just bored me. Told me "I'd get back to it" but didn't for almost a year, the thought of picking it up is pure dread. Nothing sticking, Not even inspiring writing.

Sad to say this is one of my least favorite books from Sanderson thus far, even tho I've read most of the Cosmere :(
I just did not connect to any character, subtle emotional building missing (mainly "bc of my past, I feel bad", but you don't dive into the emotions or the why until the last 70 pages or so).
Interesting worldbuilding tho.

The ending was perfect for this amazing series and I loved everything about it.
The character work is immaculate.

das 1. Buch war schon eh und dann nichtmal mit einer surprise pregnancy trope, sondern diese auch noch gleich zu überspringen, zu starten, ist einfach echt nichts für mich
