I love everything about this book, and the little side Story represented in the art has my heart, absolutely recommend!
Also a great starting point for Sanderson.

This reads like a Hunger Games x X-Men Fanfic by someone who'd like If We Were Villains.
That would be fine, just not my vibe, but every second sentence is about someones 🍆 and EVERYTHING is spelled out for you over and over again, no emotional layers, it's just laid out so many times.
And I didn't like how it was sold as fantasy and magic and all you get is "she shifted the molecular structure" and guns.

I see the buildup for a dark academia and the critique that could be to come, which I would like, but getting there is not worth it for me.
