This was the fourth Janice Hallett novel I've read and actually the most lukewarm read. I felt it only got to the meat of the story after 200 pages... Still, it reads quick due to the format of primarily email correspondence, and the deductions and the reveals at the climax provoked a sharp intake of breath or two. Love those moments tremendously. The whole picture comes together quite nicely as well. In the end I've given a higher rating than I thought I would at half way through.
