The story itself was fine but the smutty scenes really were not doing much for this romance novel. I really appreciated the story being told from one POV. I never felt the chemistry between Scarlett and Lukas and it was hard to root for their relationship. 

A lot of the little interactions between Scarlett and other minor characters could have been cut from the book and it wouldn’t affect the story and cut an easy 100 pages out of the novel.
