This is my favorite book in the series so far. I throughly enjoyed learning more of Stoker’s past and the banter shared between him and Veronica.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.
I really had no attachments to any of the characters. While it was nice to see the story lines starting to connect, I felt like I was forcing myself to get through really dark topics that I would prefer to avoid at the moment.

I really enjoyed the writing of this book up until the reveals towards the end of the book. They felt very rushed and out of place!
I also didn’t feel like Walter and Fred going missing was important for the story. Any other number of events could have happened besides involving small kids.
There were also a lot of odd remarks about DA, slut shaming, and mild racism that put me off.
