I can’t remember the last time I was this invested in a YA Fantasy with one of my favorite tropes: found family.

When the Crows interact with each other I sometimes find myself displeased with the dialogue due to the hint of immaturity. But then I’ve come to the realization that they’re just kids. A bunch of teenagers working one big job to another.

Safe to say I’ll be doing further reading of the Crows on AO3

The first half of the book kept me on edge but I was fairly disappointed by the second half and the end. There were so many loose ends that "reading between the lines" can't suffice. Such a shame. I thought I was gonna like this a lot when I began reading it
