This was a really impressive story with brilliant writing and characters. I loved the adventure that the girls were in and the different cultures that were explored in the story; a lot of research must've gone into this and it paid off. The only other pirate adventure I keep up with is One Piece so having another was great. It's a shame it is isn't published as a book but each new story comes out the year after so I'm excited to continue this adventure. I'm glad I got to meet the author at YALC.
**Spoilers mentioned for film trailer and book**
I'm still not sure whether I read this book for my entertainment or for the movie coming out. A few little things annoyed me about Jacob staying in the past because if it were a real decision to make, he's gonna regret leaving the technology advances and his family behind. I understand he's with his kind but his parents were trying to help him and I feel like his relationship with his parents was okay before he went "crazy". Being a family person, I can't see how he could drop his own so easily. It was still a fun read and I'm looking forward to Emma and Jacob in the film *cough* *cough*. Not sure whether I'll read the next two or not. I'll decide on a further notice. (I swear to God they better explain why Emma has been replaced by Olive because I want myself as the second main character)

Being on holiday increases your reading speed x3. I love Poirot mysteries and I was so close to solving this one perfectly! Still a great book though. I do understand why it inspired the Doctor Who episode, especially the last few pages.
I think I'm getting better at guessing who did it. Got this one when it happened. I'm a pro detective
A great read after finishing my first term at uni. The use of short stories made it fun and easy to read one chapter at a time although I did get carried away reading. I always want more after reading an Agatha Christie book so I may read another next or start a new series, a hard choice to decide.
This series is really promising, I don't know how Rick Riordan manages it! I would love to have seen Annabeth and Magnus talking about all their adventures though, it would have been really cool.
great great great GREAT. I can never guess the murderer in Agatha Christie's novels but that just shows how great of a criminal she is.
