The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
4.0
Hmm it’s a good book, one of the best I’ve read this year, and still I am a bit disappointed.
When a dictatorial regime is described from within, I’ld like more of the technical ‘how did they run the state than?’ and less of the ‘personal musings about my life’ which got the upper hand later in the novel.
Atwood, however, still is my #2 favorite dystopia-writer and #1 if I take the number of dystopian novels she has written.

My partner lost her mother three years ago and I needed this book.
