This book may be a good read with a nice world and good characters if only you haven't read any of the Sjm books. Because the level of plot twists and similarities between the characters is annoying. It's like Throne of Glass's story line written in a different font with ACOTAR characters. And Manon × Mare Barrow from the Red Queen series. And the level of quotes being literally taken and just changed just a little so it wouldn't look like it's copied but believe me it is. The emotional scenes where love declarations are being made are normally sappy but instead I was bawling my eyes out at them because they were literally so fucking similar to Throne of glass but you know worse.
