I can't ever remember a book being so easy to put down. I was determined to finish it and I did, but I had an extremely difficult time getting lost in the story. There were a few bright moments, and everything narrated by Sam was great, but overall I'm just not a fan.
I forgot how sad this book was toward the end; I thought once I was through the middle it'd all be cheery. Alas, I seem doomed to read only books that make me cry whilst on vacation.
Painfully boring with a resolution barely thrown in at the end. Even for chick-lit this wasn't very good, especially after enjoying the infinitely better "The Next Big Thing" by the same author.
This is one of the few books where I think I actually enjoyed the movie more. Pleasant distraction though, good for car trips or vacation.
This book is hilarious and sad, and wonderful for anyone who has ever spent time being overweight and a little miserable about it.
