Long burn, (pun intended) in parts, but worth the wait, for the ending.
The ending opened up a lot of interesting questions, it’s a shame the author finished it where he did, but I suppose he’s asking the reader to use their own imagination. Still, an enjoyable read.

Bloody good book, thoroughly entertaining, a great read, good story.
Looking forward to reading the next one. Enjoyed the banter between the crew, funny in parts, I say funny, I mean a little titter here and there. Captain Jack and crew, looking forward in catching up with them on their next adventure.

A great conclusion to an enthralling series. Thoroughly enjoyable, Captain Jack and his crew have done it again. Characters you can get behind and cheer, well written. Just an all round bloody good story. Exciting, touching and tragic, all rolled up in one.

A zombie apocalypse, so how do these books pan out, let’s see, some people get together, they become the heroes. They get caught by the bad group, they escape, they, then have to go on a supply run, lo and behold they get surrounded by zombies, they escape, someone gets bitten, and so on and so on. Therefore I imagine it must be a difficult genre to write about. Surprisingly the author has done a very good job, having said that, the story is engaging and entertaining. I found myself heavily invested in the main characters and fully engrossed in their adventures. I read all three books back to back, and didn’t ounce get bored or ennuied by the narrative. Well worth the time.

Book three in the “Too Old To Die” series. Continuing the story from the previous two books, the intrepid and ragtag crew of the Pytheas, boldly go in search of clues and new alliances, to thwart the plans of their enemies. I think it’s a set up book for the big climax, which is to come in the next two books, and let’s face it, who doesn’t like a big climax…. In a book of course.

Book 4 of the series “Too Old to Die”. Definitely feels like the narrative is being stretched out to its utmost, starting to loose interest in the story and in the characters. Probably read the next book, I’ve invested too much time and effort, and its been an effort with this episode, just to see how it ends.

Another great novella, another great story. I really enjoyed this book, as with all the others I’ve read. This author is truly consistent in his writing. I’ve been thoroughly entertained by all his books so far. I’m really looking forward to reading the rest in this series.

Two threads to the story, both narratives are well written. Both are intriguing in there own different way. I enjoyed it, found it compelling, entertaining and kept my interest piqued, I’m obviously going to read the next book, to see where it leads, plus the characters are interesting, as is the story arc. So strap in for the next thrilling ride to Ganymede.
