threatened to end it all several times throughout this series. ending is a little rushed but sweet. i love women and hate when they experience pain.

I hadn’t realized I never actually finished the series years ago, so this was a pleasant surprise! In my mind the series had left off at a point where they were in romantic limbo forever, doomed to an eternal gag. Good on them for escaping!

this book’s love for gazing at the infinite through the lens of the mundane is charming and at times infectious. though, while not this book’s fault, i’m discovering it’s hard for me to be enticed by space. to show the vastness of the universe, there was a lot of, essentially, changing the channel, cutting to unique worlds of politics throughout the galaxy, which ranged from Appropriate to Turning Into Noise for me. it bored me a bit but i respect what it was going for, and that it achieved its ambitions. you’d also think the 42 joke wouldn’t be very funny after staying in the sun so long, but honestly it’s still pretty good.

i’ve read this manga a handful of times and each seems to correspond with being at a slightly more comfortable and calm place in my life. it’s such a strange cornerstone that i’m grateful for. lesbians, losers, and above all lesbian losers 🫵 love you! stay strong and live forever

very sweet. this series is so terribly gentle. i'm a little less interested in the side characters this introduces, but there's still plenty of time to become acquainted with them....it's nice to see different characters' complicated relationships to food explored in tandem with their unique relationships to each other. this volume in particular dug up some memories of my personal experiences with both, and it may even do so for you.
