These poems are very reminiscent of the notes and writings I would keep privately on my phone when I reflected throughout my toxic relationship. For her first dip into professional writing, Her poems really resonated with me. I love seeing her deadpan humour trickle in.

The beginning was a little tiresome and repetitive with constantly referring to the FMC as being clumsy and quirky, but her personality became so endearing and lovable, with her character becoming more complex as the novel went on. the plot really picked up by the end, and leaves you on a major cliffhanger.
