I cannot believe I sat on this for so long. The world building was a little slow in the beginning, but quickly became exciting after 100 pages or so. The slow-burn was so perfectly done.

The plot was the main focus of this book, and I feel it necessary based on where the story is going. But the characters and smut suffered because of it. Apollo was just boring and there wasn’t much insight into the main characters’ psyche.
