This book was so immersive, so much so that it felt like watching a horror film. The 0.25 star reduction was due to the main character making typical horror mistakes that served to forward the story which left me feeling a little irritated. I enjoyed the LGBT+ representation and was really invested in Eve and Charlie's dynamic. Decoding the morse code was so interesting. I'm still piecing together clues and theories hours later. Another cosmic horror book added to the list of favourites.
