The slow burn of the century, and absolutely chef's kiss worthy. Lauren Blakely has written yet another bestseller for her phenomenal Love and Hockey series. (And it's not done yet - Merry Little Kissmas and The Overtime Kiss are on the way!!!) I cannot properly express my love for this book and all the other books in this series. With each one I read, it becomes my new favorite. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

• The chemistry between Leighton and Miles is so off the charts, it might as well be in outer space. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
• Everybody needs a Birdie in their life. Award for best supporting character goes here.
• Hot nerd is exactly my type. It's like you're speaking directly to my soul.
• The Cinderella chihuahuas!!!!
• I love how determined Leighton is to be independent and to figure out how to chase her dream while supporting herself. A+ FMC.
• This starts with a bang and then becomes the hottest forbidden slow burn I've ever read, omg. I feel like I'm the one on fire, LOL
• LOVED the nod to *Starter Villain* by John Scalzi! I adore that book!

• The way the attraction between Leighton and Miles SIMMERS ... I am slowly dying and loving every second. These two could not be more made for each other.
